multidomain SSL certs, alternate domains not accepted 4.0.2

I have one signed positiveSSL cert for three domains. One of those, not the primary one, is the domain for my openfire server. The cert works for the webpage associated with the server.

Trying to import the key from the admin web interface results in:

"Internal server error: The supplied certificate chain does not cover the domain of this XMPP service."

Thoughts?
