Setup openfire on W2012R2 - very vanilla installation - Avaya is trying to setup their chat services and tell me the install was done incorrectly. Their notes below but have been unable to tell me what is wrong and we are newbies. Ideas?
Below are the details from the XMPP testing:
Pidgin client is installed on the IPOCC server and RMS machine. We can log in the users on pidgin, and can see them as Online under the Openfire server Sessions, but the users themselves don't see the other users as Online/Available. If we send a chat to one of the users by manually adding a chat in pidgin, it fails to reach the other user. You should be able to test and reproduce it with couple of pidgin clients logged in with the users he created on the Openfire server. With everything working properly, the users logged in on pidgin should see other available users (including IPOCC Topic "customer") and should be able to chat.
