Use Jingle Nodes located on another server

So, one server is heavily firewalled at server1.URL.com but has open ports of 5222, 7070, 9090, and 7777.

I want to use another server to handle all the Jingle Nodes on a different public IP address than server1 on server2.URL2.com.

Is this functionality possible?

I did try changing the Jingle Nodes on server1 to that of server2's, but no go. I get the "red x".

Any ideas?
