I had a question over there <Very simple smack code doesn't work> from the WIndows platform. I switched to an Ubuntu based distro and hoped things will work.
First of all, the admin started all right. Supplied my admin/password and used the built-in database. I couldn't log in, kept saying username/password incorrect.
I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and wished I could get a chance to reset the password. It remembered the password, refused to rerun the wizard and always redirected me to the login page.
Now, I don't have the admin running at all. http://localhost:9090 says address not found. Stopped and restarted the service "service openfire stop/start" and it starts all right but no admin.
Can you please help?
